This summary report commemorates five years since Edgar Villanueva's pivotal "Decolonizing Wealth" redefined philanthropy and led to the inception of the Decolonizing Wealth Project, together sparking the reparative philanthropy movement. A full report is expected late 2023/early 2024.
We envision a world where racial equity has become a societal norm, and new systems and ways of being ensure everyone can live their best lives, thrive in their cultures, and bring about healing from generations of colonial trauma.
