2022 A Milwaukee For All | Convening Series

Philanthropy, by definition, is about love for humanity and can be manifested through sharing one’s time, talent, treasure and ties.

As the Greater Milwaukee Foundation reimagines philanthropy in a way that reaches out to and includes everyone in our community, we’ll explore how decolonizing wealth aligns to our shared desire of building a Milwaukee for all. It is a big undertaking, but small steps make the task more manageable.

What are we doing well? Where are we lacking or need improvement? What spaces are available for us to grow? How can we become better listeners and transform what we learn into equitable practices and policies?

Join us as Foundation President & CEO Ellen Gilligan and award-winning author and activist Edgar Villanueva delve into the topic of decolonizing wealth.

From residents on Main Street to professionals in the C-suite, all will benefit from attending this session.
