Direct Cash Assistance Program
The goal of this program is to provide economic support to Native American families who have been disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Idea
We believe that direct investment in our relatives is the fundamental building block towards recovery and the future of our tribal communities. This cash assistance program is a first step towards recovery efforts as we collectively work to build a stronger safety net and to have the resources we all need to thrive in our communities.
The Impact
Through partnership with tribal organizations, over $1M was given to 2100 Native American families in five tribal communities in the United States.
